Time To Clean House
It is getting time to clean house here at this warehouse. I do not mean tidy up, I get get rid of tons of stuff. I have started to list LOTS on Ebay. Some lots I just did are 12 color laser printers for $99.99 for the lot, untested. Another is 9 bar code label printers for $99.99 for the lot.
Yesterday I talked to an electronic scrap dealer and he says I can get 15 cents a pound for monitors. I have over 200 monitors left in stock and some weigh 60 to 80 pounds. I am sure I have at least 2000 pounds of monitors.
“The time has come the walrus said to think of many things………” Sharon and I will NEVER get out of this warehouse unless we start doing some drastic things to get rid of our obsolete inventory.
Do not get me wrong. Although our inventory is obsolete it is still paying our warehouse and home rent plus there rest of the bills. It is just it takes a lot of work for us to make a living. In the past we could work an eight hour day and take time off. Now we are at the office a minimum of 12 hours a day, usually 7 days a week.
This does not leave a lot of time for RVing. We have not been camping since May. That is why it is so hard for me to write about RVing in this blog. We are not RVing. We are doing the things necessary to get back into the position where we can take time off and go camping, if only it is local camping.
I think may people who dream of going full timing in a RV need to do what we are doing and take a hard look at what their life is today and what they would like it to be tomorrow. This means really evaluating your financial as well as emotional position. Are you ready financial to make a move? Are you emotionally ready to make dramatic changes?
These are the things we are working our way through at this moment, “What are we ready for?”.
