New Grandson Born Today

My youngest son and his wife had their second child this morning at 8:21 PDT.  He was 8 pounds 5 ounces and 19 inches long.  He was delivered by Cesarean section.  He is a beautiful healthy baby. Mother and baby are doing very well.  Sharon and I are very happy to have our new grandson.

Children and grandchildren are part of the decision many have to make when they are thinking about going full time.  Can you be away from family for months at a time?  Will you miss not seeing various growth event in you grandchildren?

There are many considerations to making a decision to give up a brick and motar home and have a rolling home that may be in any state in the county.  Family and friends are two of the main considerations many people have.  There is no one answer and it is an important consideration.

You may miss birthdays, anniversaries, first school play and much more.  Is this something you can easily deal with?  Are you married and will BOTH of you feel comfortable being away from your traditional home on some or all holidays?  Think about all the things you may miss before you commit to a new lifestyle.

It is late. We just stopped by the office to pick up Poky The Dog, check business email and now we are headed for home.
