WOW!  Snow storms in the mid-west. Blizzard conditions and icy roads.  Winter is here for some, but not here in Southern California.  Thanksgiving has passed, but I am thankful for our weather.  It means we can camp all year long.  We do not have to winterize our rigs.  Yesterday I said I felt another camping trip coming on and did not even think about what others are going through. 

I need to change the oil in the motorhome. It has been just over 3000 miles since I changed it last.  While I am at it I will probably change the Onan generator oil and filter.  I don’t think I have 100 hours on it since I changed it, but I will check.

My Bounder door is having problems.  First is “hit” the catch when closing the door. I had to loosen some screws and reposition the catch.  Now it is difficult to lock. This is above the door handle and previous problem.  I will get out and see about fixing that today.  It is a real problem that cannot wait.

We bought a big carpet sample at the swap meet Saturday.  It is about 2 1/2 feet wide by about 4 feet long.  We needed something more by the refrigerator where we are getting spots on the carpet.  I do not like kitchen carpet.  One of these days I will get a runner to go from one end of the coach to the other.

This carpet sample is also a good thing to carry for getting under any coach or vehicle.  Lay it on the ground and you will have a comfortable and dry place work from.
