Happy Mother's Day

Today is Mother’s Day and we “think” my son and his wife are coming and going to the zoo with us.  They were supposed to be here yesterday.  They got tied up with other things.

As always, we are at the office to start the day.  When you are dependent on every day’s earnings to  make it through each month, you do what you have to do.  Working holidays. Working seven days a week.  Sharon and I have done this for a long time. It is second nature now.

No, I did not get the Bounder speedometer repaired.  By the time I was ready to work it was two o’clock and we had to be out of here by 3:15 to head to a promotion where we had a chance to win a trip to Cabo San Lucas in Baja Mexico.  We did not win, but Sharon won a CD with a song she likes.

Our coastal weather is high overcast. This is the time of year when the fog and overcast move in.  Summer is not the best season at our beaches.  We get nice days, but you just never know. It pays to live here so you know what day to go to the beach and have sunny weather.

When you live here, it does not matter if it is sunny or cloudy. Any day at the beach is beautiful in its own way.
