Cooling Down

Last night as we drove home we had mist on the windshield.  This morning we had more of the same.  It is cooling down and I am glad of that.  It is almost noon and it is only 81 degrees in the office.  This past week it had been about 87.

I got quite a bit accomplished yesterday in a very short period of time.  Because of that I need to rethink what I am doing normally.  When I can get a day’s work done in just a few hours, I need to think of how to do that every day.  Sharon and I are looking and looking for ways to make our living in a normal 5 day week working 8 hours a day.  Right now it is 12 to 14 hours a day 7 days a week.

OK, on weekends we come in later so often we only have an 8 hour day on Saturday or Sunday, but Monday through Friday are all 12 hour days.

Mind you, I am not complaining, because we like what we do.  We would just like to be in control of it instead of it being in control of us.  It is called, “Work smarter, not harder”.  That is what we did yesterday.  Unfortunately we do not have enough inventory of the right type to do that every day.  I am going to look into finding it.  OH, yesterday we were selling electronic test equipment manuals. The are fast and easy to list on Ebay.
