Getting Ready For Rainy Season
One of our warehouse garages really leaks around and under the door. It is cloudy today, and I am thinking about getting ready for rainy season. It seldom rains except in late fall through early spring. I am not sure how to stop the rain from getting in. It is a strange situation with poor drainage.
Today at lunch time Sharon found ants on the table in the motorhome. They were starting to infest a flowering plant we keep on the table. These ants are the little ones that are so hard to get rid of. We regularly spray their nest entrances and trails, but they just come back with a vengeance.
Luckily this is only the second time we have had ants in the Bounder in 2 1/2 years. Even though we spray any time we see them out back, they snuck by us this time.
We walk Poky The Dog in a local park near our house. Three times in the last two weeks we have seen Canadian geese in the park and school yard next door. The first time there were about three dozen, the second time there were about a dozen and yesterday morning there were about eighteen. We live in the city and normally do not see geese. We must be on their migration route as they head south for the winter.
