San Dimas Campground Rally
Saturday morning at the San Dimas Rally. This is great. You can not find a nicer group of people than camping folks. Any time you get a group of people together with any common interest, you seem to find people that are the best.
Last night we had a chili themed pot luck dinner with all types of chili. There was even a sweet chili with cinnamon in it. There were a few other things, but mostly chili. Of course Sharon made here very moist baby food carrot cake.
After dinner was the campfire and karaoke for those who cared to sing. We had a couple drops of rain and a about 9:50 it poured for about 2 minutes. Just long enough to send everyone "home". A few minutes later the stars came came out. This morning it is a bright sunny day with not a cloud in the sky.
This morning people are slowly get up and our campground is stirring. At 9:00 the Bloody Mary Bar is scheduled to open at one of the rigs. I didn't mention the large jug of margaritas on the dinner table last night. Even with the alcohol this is not a drunken party, just social drinking with many who do not drink at all.
You know I still do not have this laptop setup to send email. I can check my email, I just can not send it. Verizon told me how to set up for outgoing email, but I never figured it out. Well, I never took the time to figure it out.
Our Bounder is acting up again. Yesterday when we went to get propane, it dieseled and backfired. The engine was also racing a little in idle. Two hours later when we got to the campground and turned off the engine, it dieseled on and on and back fired and backed fired. It sounded like a 21 gun salute to announce our arrival. I think I still have carburetor problems.
