Farmer's Market Today

It is still overcast and staying pleasantly cool here in Oxnard. We went over to the the Farmer’s Market today.  We got cherries, strawberries and avocados.  Afterwards we walked along the harbor edge looking at all of the boats.  I do not think boats are a good investment for most people.  I see a lot of boats that never seem to move.  There are hundreds of boats in the slips, but we see very few going out compared to how many are there.

OH, we bought a tea cup rose for the house too.  The Farmer’s Market has some very good deals on plants too.  Today they had huge blooming dahlias.  The flowers had to be at least 8 inches across and maybe 10.  Those were in 5 gallon containers for $15, but we did not get one.

It has been a very lazy afternoon here at the office. We arrived with good intentions of working all day, but a power nap got in the way.  Some days are just like that.

We will work the rest of the afternoon and into the evening, maybe going home around 7:30.  The more we work now the sooner we will be able to relax enough to go camping again. I have to feel we can afford to take the time off before we make plans.
