Reba, TV Show
Yes, I am late getting the blog posted today. I thought about doing it, got sidetracked and forgot all about it until a little while ago.
Last night Sharon and I went to see the taping of the, “Reba” TV show. It is filmed in the FOX studios in Los Angeles, Century City. It was a fun and interesting evening. The taping lasted from about 6:00 until about 9:15. They double tape each segment. They do it once with retakes for any mistakes, then they tape the same segment over with slight variations to the script.
After the taping is done, the cast stays on the set and you can take pictures and get autographs.
I won my tickets on the radio, but you can go online and apply to tickets to the filming of a lot of TV shows. We live in the area and this is only the second taping we have been to. The first one was, “The Price Is Right”. No, we didn’t get called, “Come On Down”.
The Reba set is in 4 “rooms”, sets made up as the kitchen, living room, another living room and for this show a conference room. If you watch the show, this one is about Reba buying her ex-husbands house, becoming his landlord and being sued by him and his wife.
Eight days and counting until our next rally. I am excited and anxious to get there. It is a shame we have to spend time at other activities when there is so much camping to be done. I really do look forward to the day when we go fulltiming and can camp everyday.
