Time Slips By So Quickly

It was quite a while back that we planned our camping trip for Thanksgiving. Now it is only five days away. Time slips by so quickly. It is almost scary looking back and realizing how fast time has gone by. It was only a few years ago when I was walking down the isle with Sharon and now we are grandparents. YIKES! How did that happen so fast?

Every day I plan to do things to get ready to go full timing and I look back at the end of the month and wonder where the month went. Not only that, I wonder why more has not been done. I am amazed that another year has slipped toward the end and I hardly noticed. So many missed opportunities to go camping. So many times we could have day camped at the beach and did not.

We have so many recourses and do not use them to their fullest. Interesting. For Sharon and I we "think" we are too busy to make time for more fun activities and even more work. Actually, we are not planning our time effectively and it slips by without our noticing it going.

I have never been one to make New Year’s Resolutions and do not plan to start now, but I do plan to start writing down our goals and dreams and getting them on paper and in front of us so we can see what we are looking forward to. We have let almost a year go by and we are no closer to full timing than we were at the beginning of the year. SAD! I think it is because we have not kept our WRITTEN goals, dreams and plans in front of us.

It is time for some small changes in the way we do things. It is time for renewal and moving forward. I would hate to think we will still have this same situation in one more year, two more years and even longer. "It you do what you have done, you will get what you got"
