It is Sunday and time to pack up and head for home, BUT we can’t get home the way we came.  We came here going over the “Grapevine”, which is over the mountains. It is closed due to snow.  We have to go over to the coast and head down that way.  It is probably an extra hour or two normally.  Because the Grapevine is close,  the alternative route may have excessive traffic and it could take longer.

There is not much left to do for us to leave.  Sharon has a couple dishes to finish and I need to disconnect the power to the motorhome.  After that we are ready to head on out.

Our weekend has been great.  Lots of great food. The corned beef and cabbage was delicious. The roasted whole pig was fantastic.  All of the side dishes were great. There was to much food, I did not try everything.  I was full before I got to it.  There were 30 rigs, so figure thirty dishes. PLUS, they have pre-dinner snacks which are a meal in themselves.

Well, I am going to cut this short. Sharon is done, so I need to finish shutting my part down and head for home.
