Early To Bed, Late To Rise

I have discovered an interesting thing lately. Early to bed, late to rise.  We went to bed two nights ago at 12:30 and got up at 6 a.m. Last night we went to bed at 9:30 and kept hitting the snooze alarm until we finally go up at 6:30.  Other times we have gone to bed early and we have gotten up late.

It is a beautiful sunny day today.  Our overcast has left and we are going to have a nice warm day.  I am sure glad we do not live in Florida or anywhere in hurricane country.  Our California weather has me spoiled.  I do not want snow, freezing cold, hurricanes or tornados.

OK, some of you say we have earthquakes.  They only come around every 10 to 20 years.  We have wild fires, but if you do not live in the mountains or grass lands you are pretty safe.

As much as lower priced areas are attractive to someone on a budget, California has a lot going for it.  NO, I do not miss having four distinct seasons.

Yesterday was “run the Bounder generator day”.  We try to be sure it gets run at least once a month for 30 minutes under load of an air conditioner or two.  Next I need to get our our Honda 2000 and run it for half an hour.  I neglect it more and do not run it as often as I should.  I guess I should have a written schedule for various maintenance jobs like these.
