Why Write A Blog?
I am not full timing. I am not an RV technician or even a long time RV’er. So, why write a blog or daily journal? Part of the reason is to learn to write an a committed schedule. As you know I want to learn to make my living online. Making a living online means you need to write on an ongoing basis. You have to be committed to what you are doing and meet your own personal deadlines.
While I am doing this I hope to give my readers some information I learn about RV’ing. I hope to amuse at time and share some insights into the lives of a couple who are trying to get their lives together and achieve some goals they have dreamed of.
Another purpose of writing a blog, which may interest you, is it keeps family and friends informed on what is going on in your life. With a blog, maybe you can quit sending that yearly “Christmas Letter” with all the news that is news in your family.
Maybe if you write a blog, you can put a couple links in it that will generate a small amount of income for you. You earn money anytime someone clicks on your Google Adsense ads. Please do not click ads just to help a friend. Google tracks ads that are clicked to often and can penalize the person who has the ad on their page.
If you love a product, you can talk about it in your blog and post a link for the product to an “affiliate” of yours. If the person buys the product after clicking on your link, you get a commission.
So, other than rambling on every day, YOU can have a reason to create a blog (web-log, or personal journal). It is fun. It keeps you thinking and gives you a commitment to follow through on.
