This is the time of year when we get a lot of overcast mornings and days. We have a misty morning today. Not rain mist, but high fog mist. Living at the beach here means you have to love fog and overcast. If you think of “gloomy weather” then living at beach might not be for you. We get a lot of overcast days and they are just part of what keeps our weather cool while everyone else is sweltering.
Our new work schedule is sure messing with our camping. We should be at the beach this morning. Instead of getting propane and going to the beach, we came back to work.
Actually work is paying off. We are right on schedule, actually slightly ahead of it. We have a small cushion for this months bills already. If we buckle down and really work, we will be doing great.
Sharon and I are both still having trouble getting the proper attitude or work ethic or whatever you want to call it. I know we could work a lot smarter and not have to work as hard. It is all in how we think about our obsolete inventory. Sometimes is is a treasure trove and at other times it seem like a garbage dump. In the dump mode it is hard to think of what to do next. In the treasure mode we just cruise along. It is all a state of mind.
I hope none of you think, “Poor Bob and Sharon”. This current adventure is one of the best things that has happened to us in a long time. We are so happy some idiot turned us in to the city. We have a “real” place to live. Our business is picking up at a rapid rate. We are overcoming a lot of our procrastination problem. Life is good.
